I shall be there along with Mabski - my daughter who is a veteran of 3 cons now at the tender age of 14yrs!

Various incarnations may be appearing costume wise, I am sure Queenie will make an appearance in her new frock!

I had bought my membership in April 2007

but some unfortunate circumstances forced me to cancel everything only

four weeks before, flight, room, membership, even gala diner :( :(

At least I could pass on the ticket to a very nice fellow forum member

and I hope to see lots of piccies here :)

Not that I'm glad you're not goind LadyL, but I feel less lonely now that I know someone else has cancelled as well. I feel horrible about it! :\

I'm not going either this time, unfortunately.

This will be the first major Discworld event i've missed since 1998.

I'm not supprised about cancellations just look at airlines and how they always overbook flights coz of the people that don't make it
