Haven't really been that many great titles for 2010... New Vegas is an obvious contender, as is Bioshock and Mass Effect 2. But nothing truly spectacular.
If only Valve had managed to release Portal 2 this year... :(

I'm going to need a swat team, ready to mobilize, street maps covering the whole of florida, a pot of coffee, 12 jammy dodgers and A FEZ.

New Vegas isn't too bad, but not as brilliant as Fallout 3 :)
A poster outside one shop urged people to Dig For Victory, as if it were some kind of turnip.

Robot Unicorn Attack is the best game in the universe. We cannot contain it with a mere 'Game of the Year' award - it must be unfettered by opinion so we can all enjoy its glory 8)

The best game I have played this year (even though it was released in 2007) would be Half-Life 2: Episode 2. Truly a triumph of story, direction and gameplay :)

I am a gamer, but I rarely buy games when they first come out. The last time I did that was when, I think, Final Fantasy XII came out. So I haven't really bought anything released this year.
I've lived for over 2000 years, and not all of them were good ones. I've made many mistakes. And it's about time I did something about that.

Like I say - you didn't miss out on much. 2011's going to be a landslide, though.

Well, the only current generation console that I have is the Wii. And yes, I considered my choice in getting it very carefully. I also have a PS2 and a DS.

Normally such Wii-focussed commentary would have me unleashing a high-pressure torrent of bile... but I'm in good company, so I won't.

Still... I'm very happy with my gaming PC 8)

Wish I had a gaming PC. I wanna play Team Fortress 2. Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun-dun-dun-dun-dun.
