Rincewind

Postby smiffy » Fri Oct 29, 2010 10:51 am

Help I have missed something or several somethings.
In Sourcery Rincewind was last seen in the regions beyond with no chance of return. Having just read Unseen Academicals he is back, complete with lugage as Professor Rincewind.
Can anyone enlighten me as to how, when, and any other did he manage to return, a book title would be even better.
regards

Well you have skipped about 30 books :D

He gets out in Eric and then has lots more adventures before UA.

Check out the reading order guide for your missing Rincewind stories

Even if you do read the ones inbetween their are stil gaps you have to assume along the way.

Also try to at least read the story part of the Science Discworld as they showhow Rincewind gets promoted and also further insight into his relationship with the other wizards. Personally I think the best Rincewind story is clever thiinking in the Science of Discworld 2.

(I haven't read Science 3 yet or Unseen Accademicals. I've been reading the books in order for the first time and am currently on Monstrous Regiment.)

Welcome to the site, smiffy! :D

It's never really explained what happens to Rinso after Eric. We next meet him on a desert island along with the Luggage in Interesting Times.

Poor Rinso on that island. I'm not going to spoil it, but the poor man was certainly confused.
