Hey, I'm new to this forum so I thought I should just introduce myself;
My name's Kelly, I'm 20, English and I absolutely love Terry Pratchett's work!
It all started back at school thanks to my amazingly supportive English teacher. I didn't do well at school as I'm dyslexic and really struggle at spelling but I've always loved reading (I used to be a big horror buff), my English teacher noticed this, invited me along to a book club she was running for able readers and lent me her copy of The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents and... Well, she never got it back! It was the first book that made me both cry and laugh out loud, I even named two of my pet rats after Peaches and Sardines.
I've since read every book in the Discworld series so far, the Bromeliad trillogy, Good Omens, Strata and Dark Side of the Sun and I've enjoyed them all so much I now find it hard to read anything else!
Other things I like include art and design, music, psychology, computers, religion, criminology and socialising.
On the odd occasion I'm not reading Pratchett's books I like to read James Hurbert, Shaun Hutson, David Eddings and Douglas Adams.
Well that's me, I look forward to getting to know everyone!
