After trying hard all day long, it's finally snowing heavily in Cardiff.

the snow is already 10 inches thick out here in the back of beyond, in the time that land forgot etc etc etc hoping it keeps it up so i dont have to go to uni tomorrow and can build snow men instead!

ha how did u know?!?!? thats where i go to uni, glasgow itself was fine when i left at 4pm but the roads round about it havent been too good

Aw i love that snowman and i am envious that you get to play in the snow... it never snows here all we have is sun, sun and more sun even winter has nothing but sun!

must make a plan to get to the UK when its snowing... hope the weather isnt too hectic there and you are all keeping warm!

Even us folk down 'ere in the south west are suffering (it hasn't snowed here for almost five years) but it has it's dividends.
I walked a short distance to work at 6am and it really was a beautiful scene, the snow crunching under one's feet, the orange glow of the street lamps, almost serene if I wasn't heading to work. Anyway, only one lorry of mail arrived so we sorted that, hung around a little then finally received the news that we have permission to go home...at 9 30am! Awesome

. Admittedly our district will not receive any mail today but who cares?

You'll never guess which daft postie slipped on the ice this morning, landing on his elbow forcing a return to the delivery office and a trip to casualty?

Does Royal mail still supply snow chains for your shoes? They used to do them when I was a postie - but that was about 30 years ago.
