No, I've just seen them flying free in several places near the tops of the Rhondda valley and Brecon Beacons. They are unmistakable when you see them with that forked tail. :D

We have Red Kites here in north northamptonshire as well. Can often see them from my living room.

Yes they are a real success story from just a couple of pairs a relatively few years back, to them spreading around the country. :D

I had never seen one, till we went on a coach trip to Gigrin, with our local RSPB group last year. There must have been over 200 gathering for the feed. Awesome!

Yup we have them in Buckinghamshire too.

Agree with Wales being a great place, Cornwall too

I like rugged coastlines and countryside

been having major problems with the forum this afternoon cgi errors , fatal errors , timed out, and very very slow anybody know anything can be done to remedy this . i went on the fiest forum which is the same format as this and had no problems. iits really spoiling my enjoyment of this site :cry:
