What a naughty board!

Postby Tonyblack » Sat Jan 31, 2009 1:55 pm

I don't know if anyone else has been having trouble with the board today?

Well I got a message saying that it's been a very board.

CGI Error

The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.

The wording made me chuckle.

Same here Tiffany although I'd had to ditch my cookies 'cos of login probs on another forum so I put it down to that

I had the same 'misbehaviour timeout messages last night as well as this afternoon Tony - also the IP address was showing up as the browser was trying to connect... does the Disc have gremlins or is there an equivalent? Perhaps an Auditor in the scripts?

Ditch - toss - delete - whateverrrrrrrrrr!

Sometimes with asp/php forums the login scripts get screwed/constipated/have a funny turn and they refuse to recognise the user's cookies which contain amongst other things your login info.
When that happens you have sling out the lot through your Tool/Internet options pop-up on the browser which means the next time you come to login there are no cookies to confuse the pedantic ickle login scripts and so you HAVE to do a proper login which generally will work properly for you and load up a fresh cookie for you to use until the next time it decides to have a fit and not want to know you......

Sorry, I was chuckling as 'toss your cookies' is a colloquialism for vomiting.
