It's not available anywhere. there is one copy not in Terrys direct control but as the owner has committed to not letting it get into the public domain until after publication you just had to be at convention to hear it read out.

Sorry :(
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

Interesting - if there is a finished first draft of Snuff, I have to ask: how long, on average, does it usually take for a book to go from first draft to being 100% finished?

If the answer is 'not very long' then perhaps Terry could get this out, say, next Spring so that he goes back to having two books published per year? :)

Sorry, I know I'm being incredibly greedy but, well, it's Terry. It's Discworld. Need I say more? ;)

Remember there is the Long Earth project to work on as well so he needs to get this one out of the way. There may be two books a year (or getting back towards that) but they won't both be Discworld

Sounds like a reasonable timeline. Plenty of time to re read all of the watch books again in preperation. :D :D :D :D

Long Earth?

Is that to do with Nation? I haven't read it yet.

No Long Earth is a proposed series of Science Fiction rather than Fantasy books Terry is working on with Stephen Baxter

The supposed release date of the first long earth book of two is Spring 2012.
I'm fairly sure there's a link to the press release on this site somewhere.
a bit of a change from the discworld books.
might be closer to the likes of Strata.

Heres the link to the announcement from transworld.

Might be time to start up its own thread anyway.

The release date stated shouldn't interfere too much with Snuff anyway.

Ahh. Thud is one of my least favourite of the books.

Indeed we are!

I like the Watch books, but Thud just didn't do it for me.

Have to agree with Bouncy on this one. Thud is my least favourite Watch book. :P
