I generally like first-person shooters - either for the adrenaline rush, or the competitive edge, or the rich immersiveness of single player - but I love platformers, especially the terrifically hard ones, and single player RPGs. MMORPGs, not so much.
I have a few actually I quite like Racing, RPG, FPS and Fighting games. Usually they are the genres I go for when I buy a game. But failing that I have bought a few sports games before.
I think my favorite genre's are shooters: Halo, gears of war,COD, Half-Life 2. Horror: bioshock, systemshock 2, silent hill. platformers: Psychonauts Rayman 2, Heart of Darkness.
Those are my Favorite Genres
RPG's I am currently obsessed with Oblivion but am in dire need for some smart type individual with smarts to create a Discworld game for the 360...unless there's XBOX Discworld games that can in actual fact be played on the 360 as well?
Jean and I play World of Warcraft and are waiting for Cataclysm to be released (in 21 days). There is a lot going on in the game at the moment; Stormwind City and Ironforge, for examplem are under heavy attack from elementals which have secretly been let in by some devices made by a Doomsday cult which developed lately, due to the many earthquakes that happen as harbingers of the Cataclysm. There is fighting going on all over Stormwind City, no safe place anymore.
RPG's. World of Warcraft. I use my older brother's account but he lets me. Sssssssh! I don't know if that's allowed. I'm not allowed my own until next year! It becomes a bit samey sometimes, but it's pretty good as you can dip in and out of it. But it can become addictive at times. I wish it didn't cost so much a month though.
