lol that is true SWReader. Here, in N. Illinois, it is 73 F and 94% humidity. You work up a sweat just sitting in a chair outside. We are in a new "alley" where all the storms are heading now. It has rained so much that in our ravine, the water is squirting out of the SIDES of it. It looks like some pre-historic water park! :lol:

Today at 5:30 p.m. we're still at 107.6 but with on 4% humidity. Theoretically we were only supposed to get to 104 today, and tomorrow has a prediction of 106. Come on monsoons.

The fire danger is massive in Arizona right now. There are 2 major fires in and around Flagstaff, AZ. We got all those spring rains and lots of growth, which with the current temperatures are like tender. One man (idiot) from California apparently started one of them by dumping hot coals on the ground in a wooded area. Don't know about the other.

At 5:45 p.m. it's still 105.6 Degrees with 4% humidity!

We have a "20%" chance of showers tonight, but I got the car washed today, so maybe, just maybe. Traditionally our monsoons start about July 4th.

And we're undoubtedly cooler than Phoenix (poor Nonnie) They've got 110.8 and 10% humidity with chance of scattered showers.

10% humidity? :shock:

I'd kill for 10% humidity.
Here it's so humid you have to have at least 12 showers a day and change your clothes at least five times.

cool and very windy here - weird thing is that when it's really windy like this the wind farm up the road turn the turbines OFF!

Maybe it the BR symptom IT'S THE WRONG TYPE OF WIND. :mrgreen:
