Disc World Cup - *FINAL*

Postby poohbcarrot » Fri Jan 09, 2009 2:45 pm

Looking through the old threads on this forum I found the "Favourite book thread". Two things struck me about this thread;

1. There was no clear favourite book
2. An astonishing 27 different books were mentioned.

Just for a bit of fun, I'm interested what this forum's members think is the most popular book, so I've devised the following Disc World Cup.

I have divided 36 Discworld books into 6 groups. Please choose your two faves from each group. The 6 winners, 6 runners-ups and 4 best losers will progress to the knockout competition.

Please make your picks by Sunday evening.

I have absolutely no idea what the final winner will be.

Group A ~ 4 & 5

Group B ~ 4 & 5

Group C ~ 3 & 4

Group D ~ 2 & 3

Group E ~ 2 & 4

Group F ~ 6 - :oops: I haven't read any of the rest and TBH I'm not too fashed if I never do for some reason - if it has to be two books then on the balance of probability it'd be 5 I suppose... when I get around to it (I think I'm having a Mrs. Cake moment... :roll: )

What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!
