Three things I like
RPing an Elf in Middle Earth (actually several, plus a couple of Dwarves (one a lady), a crotchety ole lady Hobbit, some Secondborn and even an Orc (shamelessly based on 'Lurtz' who wasn't even in the books...)

)
Discworld and most things that PTerry's written that aren't or only loosely
My lovely Springer Spaniel Rowley
Three things I might like
The PTerry books I haven't read yet (like the Tiffany ones

) - pretty sure of this I think
Being divorced / living on my own
Being paid to write
Three things I'd change
Being married
Being able to trust myself to come off anti-depressants without turning into an axe murderer...
Always being 'tactful' (I do speak my mind quite a lot but I always end up pulling punches when sometimes I should really just thwack away regardless)
Three things to make the World better.
Getting rid of George Bush
*ticks in anticipation*
Banning all religious involvement in government - preferably banning religion period (The God(s) hate us anyway so we don't need them poking their noses into finding more reasons to kill each other)
Discovering a way to make every kind of lettuce (with the
possible exception of watercress and rocket) mutate into high calorific foods so salads would become more interesting?
Three things I thought I would like but didn't.
Films 1 - 3 of Star Wars - a seminal lesson in not relying on CGI to get over poor scriptwriting and too much cynical merchandising and marketing techniques
Can that count as three? No?
OK I'll come back later...
Getting promoted from my 'dream job' into management - it sucked to hell and back and damn nearly killed me inside
Being married? Can't think of anything else really - bit of a cheat too as mostly it was OK & we're still friends - just too poor to separate without a good enough reason to do so...
Three things that make me laugh.
Discworld
British comedy (I'll pinch
Jinx's list but add - The Fast Show; Monty Python; Gimme Gimme Gimme; Drop the Dead Donkey; early Only Fools and Horses; The Vicar of Dibley - which incidently was something I thought I
wouldn't like and did... etc etc...)
My dog getting so excited about going out that he does 'puppy-squeal' barks
Three things I couldn't be without.
My friends - especially the
strange ones online
My left hand - 'cos it has all the brains...
Sight - is my primary sense I think
Three of your worst nightmares.
Where your teeth start falling out? First time I had it I was dead in a coffin which was at least understandable... But one time I woke up and found one of my molars (bottom set)had literally exploded along with the temporary filling I'd had put in a few days before
Thinking I'm surrounded by 'people' who are in fact androids or simply uninhabited 'shells' - I say thinking 'cos this sometimes happens when I'm awake too. When one android was my Mum it was really scary...
Waking nightmare - not being able to get online and post in the forums - I literally go cold turkey
Three things that are just plain backward in logic
Sleep is the 'little death' - I enjoy sleeping thank you and lots of nice stuff happens to me when I'm off in the Land of Nod. Plus you wake up of course which you couldn't do at all if you were dead - even a little bit?
You've got to be cruel to be kind? No you bl**dy haven't! Far too much cruelty goes on without inventing stupid excuses for it! call it being firm with prejudice maybe - although sloppy grammar itself is annoying...
Buy one get one free / 2 for the price of 1... et al -
I ONLY WANT/NEED ONE!
being just a family of 2 plus the dog I've lost count of the times I've binned far too many 'bonus' veggies/fruits or whatever because it's spoiled - I don't want to be a rubbish disposal operative for the big supermarkets (or wherever) just to get a 'bargain' I can't usefully eat or freeze or will be using for the next 3 years...
Three things I thought I wouldn't like but did...
