Just thought I'd like to wish everyone a happy Hogswatch.
It's also the time when you take refuge at home from the inclement weather and warm your toes in front of an open fire whilst toasting your
nuts over the glowing coals.
Except for you Antipodeans of course [you lucky people].

Don't forget to leave out a pork pie for the Hogfather.

(Now I have to ask myself, do I tell my daughter to leave a mince pie for Santa or a pork pie for the Hogfather? Just think of the fun she'll have when her first year in school comes and in December she tells her classmates she's excited about the Hogfather coming.)

Haha! It's as good a story as Santa, Jinx!

I will definitely be watching for the hogs this Hogswatch eve, and we have just had the chimney swept so that we can get the fire going!

This is probably the first Christmas that I have actually been ready for Christmas before Christmas day. Hooray!

I FLIPPIN' LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR. :D

Pleases remember that a Hog is not just for Hogswatch......... no if you are careful you can make it last into the New Year by making currys and stews and freezing them! :D PS The Bones make an ideal starter for a broth or stock.
