I've never tried a recipe from any cookbook. My speciality is pot noodle on toast. :oops:

back onto book bargains. i had a book today of amazon today called "bears cant run down hill" cost me a shiny penny plus p&p £2.75

its about dubious pub facts . so i can impress my opoes with my font of general knowledge :lol:
i did get banned fom my local pub quiz for winning the quiz on my own . 8 beer tokens just for me :lol: (i did cheat)

Well just got an amazing galley proof of 'An Unofficial Companion to the Novels of Terry Pratchett and all for £5.51 :) well happy bargain of the year.

You can get a version of God's Debris, a book by Scott Adams (the man responsible for the Dilbert comics) absolutely free - and legitimate as well! - to download and read here: http://nowscape.com/godsdebris.pdf !

Not a book, but the 2009 Discworld Calendar is currently available from Amazon.uk for just over a quid! See here for details.

I'm told there is a limit of 3 per person. So it's no good buying 5 and getting free delivery.
