i see your point about death but it is possible for him to submit, what about the duel between him and mort? perhaps a god or auditor could beat death in a fight to the...err non existence but a new death would only materialise

Thing is, when he fought Mort... he was becoming less real, as a result of Mort taking over his job... Also, didn't he actually win but show mercy anyway?

ok here is this thread's first 'team fight',with groups of people going against each other as opposed to individuals

who would win in a fight the witches or the wizards?
Proof that L-Space exists in this universe

Fact 1:Heavier things distort time and space more
Fact 2:A page with ink on it is heavier than an unprinted page
Conclusion:A book distorts time and space more than blank papers

its also a possiblity that the witches will just stare at the wizards and realise that its bad luck to hurt a witch

Actually, granny did win against him in Lords and Ladies. Anyone can challenge him.Plus he's not allowed to interfere if its not a challenge.

I think the witches would win, like in equal rites.

Who would win, queen of fairies vs. Count de Magpyr

Anyone been following the cage matches between fantasy heroes on Suvudu? People could vote who would win in fights.

First round had Aragorn against the Wee Free Men, link to the results.

Results overall seem mostly popularity votes, but that's to be expected. Still, was fun to see some characters pitted against each other :)

Oh, gut feeling: Esk and Tiffany would be a draw, neither would be interested in a fight :)

I think probably on that site there are more LOTR fans than TP fans.
I mean, feegles can carry off trolls.
They're immune to anything except the little known poison called Witches Stare/Glare
Oh, and the tappin' o' the feet.

Since Jan is a fan of both, lets see what she has to say.

Right, but I had the feeling that if they did fight, Esk's staff would win, rather than Esk. But my romantic half wants Tiffany to give her a whack with an iron frying pan. Or lose and nurse a grudge throughout the book and give her the whack at the end.

Susan wouldn't ever lose, but I think she wouldn't be able to beat an Igor (They're virtually indestructible)

Here's one for you gamers!

Well, Margolotta is still a vampire which gives her an advantage...but then as we saw in The Truth, Vetinari is v. fast and there are so many ways to kill a vampire...can't really see either of them fighting to be honest
