You'll have to have a host to upload it to first. I'd recommend signing up to photobucket.

You can upload the files there easily enough, once they're hosted photobucket provides a code that conveniently works on these forums. The bottom piece of code under your thumbnail is what you want (IMG Code). Just clicking on the textbox usually copies it automatically to your clipboard so you can just past the code in your message.

I guess you have already looked in the FAQ? http://88.208.209.103/minisites/terrypratchett/forum/faq.php#24

You have to first upload your picture to some-where on the web. Many use sites like photobucket.com or flickr.com

Once the picture is uploaded, you use the Img button when you write the post, and put the link to your picture between the [img]and%20the[/img] tags. [/img]

Chris, if you email me your pic I will convert it to code for you, so you just have to copy & paste it in.

Let me know if it's for an avatar, as I'll need to resize it.

alternatively, rather than sign up to photobucket, you can add one-off pics using this method.

1. www.tinypic.com

2. Click 'Browse' and choose the picture you want to upload

3. Click 'Upload'

4. You should see the image you have uploaded appear to the right.

5. Right click on the image and select 'Copy link location'

6. Return to where you wish to upload the picture (this forum) and click the Img button up there ^

7. Paste in the link and click the Img button again.

8. Preview to make sure it worked

9. Send me cake or beer as a thank you :D
