Great idea Pooh ........ 8)

I think, it was a hell of long time ago, but I think it was
Telstar by The Tornado’s.

It would have been 1962 and I would have been a carefree 10 year old

I'm not that bad when it comes to singles, as I was already 15 and got myself Dancing With Tears in my Eyes - Ultravox :)

First record - Afterburner from ZZ Top.

But there were cassettes before that although you wouldn't know the artists so I'm safe anyway :P

I know that my first single was Prince Charming by Adam and the Ants (I still think Ant music rocks :P ). Have no idea what my first album was. Probably something grungey (I can only hope).
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Not only is AdamAnt very Johnny Deppish in his own way, I love his music too. It has a beat that just forces people to wiggle in fun even if they don't particularly like it. heheheh

Rolf Harris wasn't happy about Prince Charming as the tune is actually pinched from Rolf's 1965 song "War Canoe".

All together (Don't you ever)
All together (Don't you ever)
Lean on the paddles (Stop being dandy)
Lean on and lift out, silently (Showing me you're handsome)
All together
All together
Lean on the paddles
Lean on and lift out, silently

War canoe can
Creep along can
Glide along when
When there may be
Enemy near

All together
All together
Lean on the paddles
Lean on and lift out, silently
All together
All together
Lean on the paddles
Lean on and lift out, rapidly
All together
Lean on the paddles
Lean on and lift out, rapidly

War canoe come
Flashing towards us
Crashing towards us
Now we see the
Enemy clear

All together
All together
Fight to kill the
Fight to kill the enemy

Come on and kill the enemy
Come on and kill ...

All together
All together
Lean on the paddles
Lean on and lift out, easily

All together
All together
Lean on the paddles
Lean on and lift out, silently

War canoe can
Splash along can
Sing the song
We know we kept the enemy clear

All together
All together
Lean on the paddles
And bring the war canoe safe home again

mmm mmmm mmmm mmmmm

All together
All together
Lean on the paddles
And bring the war canoe safe home again

mmm mmmm mmmm mmmmm

All together
All together
Lean on the paddles
And bring the war canoe safe home again

Thank you Tony.

Rolf you are forgiven for bastardizing Stairway to Heaven and for the Wobble Board and seeing as I’m in such a good mood for The Stylophone as well.
