Hugs Mici! Something will come along. Don't give up! And, don't be afraid to re-contact those places that hired someone else. So often things don't work out and you might still have a chance of filling one of those positions.

Definitely recontact them discreetly (without being obsessive). From what I've heard, most companies do not keep resumes on file, so the person who makes contact the morning of an opening can be the one who gets the job (my late aunt got a major job that way once).

We got our electric bill yesterday. I usually never look at it, but wifey handed it me to bring inside. I opened it and was a little shocked to see that the balance was $1861.00.
The last bill was double of the same time last year and the current one is triple of last year!

The only thing I can guess is that the company which serviced the heat pump in December did something wrong. We're going to call them today to see what they say. I hope the electric company will do something for us as well.

Ouch! That's even worse than mine. Check it and double check it. And don't let them fob you off!

It's a little hard to say exactly. The bills are for ever 60 days and we are on budget billing for $187/bill. So we are off bt 10 times our budget billing. It will be higher in the winter of course, but not that much.

I hope they will be gracious and and watch the consumption from last year.

I'm probably no good... everyone wants some sort of previous experience, but how am I supposed to get that experience if nobody will employ me?! What good do all my languages do if I cannot get anywhere with them?
And David was telling me that another job I applied for in the Summer over there in Ironbridge didn't go through either...

I am sadness. :(

I don't know what the economy is like over there, but it seems like jobs are hard to get in most countries. Alberta (Canada) is an exception. There are lots of jobs and everything pays well.

..what are you waiting for?? :)

What about a translator type job at some resort/tourist destination(s)? You could be a translator/entertainer. The skies' the limit really. :)

I've been stuck with a bill of nearly £300, as apparently Axa have only paid partially for one of my procedures, and I'm stuck with the rest, and the hospital is now sending snarky letters.

Surely the NHS should cover all your treatment. Would talking to CAB help?

I had that problem with private care as well Bouncy. I just refused to pay and kept referring the hospital back to the insurer. Eventually they settled between themselves. :D
