Really sorry mirandashell! Hope you find something else quickly and that it's even better.

I'm a nervous wreck. Thing 2 has an appointment to get some cavities filled today. She's so stressed out about it that I didn't tell her that I made the appointment. I'll be picking her up from school shortly to go to the dentist. I thought if she didn't know, she couldn't fret about it in advance. I have no idea how this is going to go. Could be a disaster. They have the nitrous oxide ready! :?

Fingers crossed it goes ok Catch-up. My grandaughter had her first extraction yesterday, a molar which was removed to give her other teeth room and get ready for braces. She was very brave.

I actually don't mind going to the dentist these days. I still have my own teeth, fortunately, even if a lot of them are full of amalgam. I only wish that electric toothbrushes were available 50 years ago (and more) and I would have been saved a lot of grief. There was a step change in my oral health after I switched to an electric brush some years ago, so much so that the dentist noticed!

Hope everything went all right with Thing2, Susanne! I'm sure if you're around with her and her dentist is nice, she won't be that upset...

Here's to the future mirandashell, I hope your next job is amazing like a paradise island caretaker or luxury bed tester.

Hope the dentist went ok, catch-up.

I have a similar experience WW, my son had 4 teeth removed for his braces. He was 11 which was a couple of years ago now. He was very good though he's not one to stress about things.

She was awesome! She was very nervous, but so brave. She needs one more filling. I think we'll both be less stressed for the next appointment.
