Anton Arensky's "Variations on a Theme of Tchaikovsky".

That's great - she's an amazing cellist. I was so impressed with the piece you posted below that I ordered it. :)

Mici has a lot to answer for in costing us money, I have now bought 4 of Sol Gabetta's CDs :D

Very good, not heard that one before :D

Now onto Yin Chengzong playing his own composition The Yellow River Piano Concerto (reasonable sound but poor video but this was back in 1971) I have the studio recording done at the same time on vinyl

I'm currently listening to a certain Mr Pratchett on Desert Island Discs from back in 1997. :D

A pleasant surprise my player came up with. Had all but forgotten about this song:
Blackmore's Night - Play Minstrel, Play

Richie Blackmore on acoustic guitar, Ian Anderson on flute and Candice Night singing. What's not to love?

Glad you liked it. Here's another one:
Blackmore's Night - Shadow of the Moon

There's also pure guitar version - but I like this one better. 1. Candice's singing is so beautiful, 2. the arrangement of the version I posted has a nicer atmosphere imo.

It's interesting how many videos you post I can't watch because I'm in Germany. GEMA and Youtube could still not agree how much Youtube has to pay for streaming a video that contains GEMA registered music.
This farce has to stop some day or other. But I fear it won't.

I can't keep track of what is available where anymore. I have a video that used the song Freebird that originally said it was blocked in Germany, but for some reason, no longer says it is.

(though, it's still blocked on mobile)

and I got an email just yesterday from youtube saying one of my videos was removed, yet when I go to the video, it's still there and available everywhere.
