Sorry to hear that, love.

Admin/secretarial is probably the best to be - and I say that coz it's my area, too!

That's true. There are jobs out there. It's just that I was settled in and now I've got to move again.

I think it was just the shock as well. I'll be alright in a couple of days when I've got used to the idea.

Ah well, worse things happen at sea!

Should get something. There will be a 'consultation' but I'm not sure what that means yet. I'll find out next week. But whatever I get will be helpful.

Nothing I've done, just my job can be split and given to other people. The usual crap. I just wasn't expecting it cos my team has gone from 7 to 4 in the space of the last 2 years. So we all thought we were down to the bone as it was. But obviously not!

I'm ok. I'm an admin so not specialised and the skills are transferable. It's just the job market is so crap and I didn't really want to be unemployed right now with a Tory government.

Ah well, shit happens!

You don't want to be unemployed with any government, hope you find something suitable soon.

Just under 4 years so it won't be loads of payout.

It's just that I'm settled there. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and it's nice to find a job where they understand that and make allowances. Now I have to start all over again.

ach well!
