More positive horse calming vibes coming your way.

Today I am happy as I have had confirmation of our holiday booking. We are not going too far this year - just to Somerset.......but that means I can hopefully pop past Wincanton and a certain Discworld shop

We are also planning trips to Bristol to the SS Great Britain, to Glastonbury Tor and loads of other places.

Can't wait for August :D :D

Smiling because my boy is so happy. He turned 6 this weekend, and both the childrens party and grown-up party were successful :) Childrens party was extremely noisy, but our hearing will hopefully return somewhere 'round next friday...
There were no public health laws in Ankh-Morpork. It would be like installing smoke detectors in Hell.

Ooo. I like Dorset. Gorgeous coast line, fossil hunting at Kimmeridge Bay. had a couple of lovely hols around there with the kids.

If you are passing through Hampshire on the way, shout & wave as you go past  :D .....or pop in to the Watercress Line for a bit of Raising Steam fun - it's where PTerry did his research and train driving for Raising Steam.

From Nottinghamshire to Dorset via Hampshire. Not the most direct route there Chilli  ;)

Dorset is only just a bit to the left of Hampshire. ;) If your map reading is anything like mine, you'd get there via Wales and the Channel Tunnel!

Wales and the Channel Tunnel? That would be an indirect route. Will give a wave anyway, you might need high powered telescope.

I was reading Guards Guards.
Carrot came to Ankh and told the gate guard why he's there. The guard asked him what has he done that they are making him become a watch. He says I volunteered. Then the guard said "Bloody Hellfire!"
It was the first time I heard that phrase and I burst into laughter.

Thank you for all the good wishes! Ava did a great job on her dressage test! :D I think all the practice paid off. We were at the barn 3 days in a row. I'm exhausted.

So glad you have your trip planned Chilli. :D I'd love to see a picture of all of you in the shop!

Ghost, very nice purchase!

Nice work Ava!
Cute dragon Ghost!
Argh! Britain is going to be full of Discworld fans going round in circle come the summer :? Aided no doubt by that well-known phenomenon..........the signs to the place you want disappear just before the turning you need. It never fails to prompt gales of cheerful laughter as the driver gnaws a chunk out of the steering wheel.......
