I thought I wasn't going to be able to pick a favorite, but the one you swapped out for the swan is it! Love the colors in it. The other three are great too. I love the sky in the first picture. Love the expression in the 2nd picture and the name you put with it. Also love the swan picture and I would have never known you photoshopped it.

You know, I don't see photoshopping as cheating. I think it's like any other effect a photographer might make to a photo to enhance it.

I've just got in from tonight's competition and got the following scores (and comments);

"After the Parade" scored 17 out of 20 and got the comment that it could have done with more black in the shades of grey. I sort of agree but that colour is hard to find on a whitish building on a bright sunny day. :lol:

"He Doesn't Suspect a Thing" also scored 17 out of 20 but would have scored higher if the couple had looked more relaxed and not so posed, which is fair comment. He did however call me a 'technical genius' :lol: for the way the lighting and detail was handled. I'm very pleased with this score since I don't normally photograph people, let alone do portraits. :D

"The Song Remains the Same" scored 20 out of 20 and was the overall winner on the night despite some extremely strong rivals for that position. In fact the judge was so complimentary and waxing lyrical for so long about it that I was getting a bit embarrassed by it all. What was nice was the number of other members who came up to me afterwards complimenting me on the pic. :dance: :dance: :dance: :D :D :D

Yay Penners! Image

Congos and respect for all 3. Have purloined a copy of your musician for my mood board for my next literary project - he's the spit of how I imagine one of my main magically-gifted males! May have to give him some new clothes and lose the cap though :twisted: :lol:
