Saw that, good news!

Woke up to -20F yesterday morning. More snow coming through this weekend.

7 inches of snow overnight... -11 F (that's -23.8 C) crap...

Sorry to be an annoying Meerkat, but it's chuilly but sunny here in the East Riding of Yorkshire. No fluffy white stuff yet, and I hope none this year!

I heard someone say it's the first year they have known a winter without any snow here, and he was an older guy. It's been very wet & windy but not particularly cold.:o

Lovely day, going for a walk round Rufford with the family this afternoon. :D (Not told them yet. )

Putting away the hat and gloves I got out but didn't actually wear. :D

Sorry to hear you're still suffering over there Catch-up. I had to look up what -20F is in centigrade, and was shocked.

Sunny all day today, shorts and t-shirt weather. Went out for a long walk, and the thermometer in my car was saying 20C (68F) on the way back - had to turn the air-con on. Not sure that's quite right, but it must have been close to it. Going to be fairly cold overnight though.

Apparently 20 degrees centigrade was quite common in England today so that may well have been correct. It was lovely in the sun :D
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

Was it or was it not GLORIOUS yesterday? If this is spring bring it on! All my windows and doors were open wide. I saw one cabbage white butterfly and one wasp. Lovely day. sat in the sun and wrote an end to a story I am concocting.

Yes, it was very nice yesterday. Enough that I could even take off my coat. I too happened to see what I assume was a cabbage white butterfly (my cat was in her element - she loves going after insects like butterflies).

Don't wear them Bouncy, cant remember the last time I had a jumper/jersey on, but if manage a hill walk in the next few weeks I would put a fleece in my pack as the temperature can drop dramatically very quickly on the mountain, last climb I did have to pull up my zip on the summit as it was a bit windy.
