There are over 3,000 Gods on the Disc!

My 3 faves are;

Steikhegel
Bunu
P'tang P'tang
"Disliking Carrot would be like kicking a puppy."
"You kicked a puppy," Lobsang said accusingly.

Hogfather, John Barleycorn, & Jack Frost are anthropomorphic personifications, not god. However, I would accept them since they're caused by belief. Not sure about bogeymen though. :?

BTW, anyone have any idea what John Barleycorn actually personifies?

You're thinking of the "god of rain" from Going Postal:

Going Postal wrote: ‘Anghammarad Said She Reminded Him Of Lela The Volcano Goddess, Who Smokes All The Time Because The God Of Rain Has Rained On Her Lava,' the golem went on.

Does the oh god(!) of hangovers count?

To be quite honest, he's my favorite'godly' character in all the books.
"I don't think I could live in a world that we have to tell him the machine stops working if we take away his fluffy teddy bear."
"We could always say it won't work without the FTB enabled?"

John Barleycorn in english folklore is the spirit of the barley and/or the alcohol brewed from it
