I hope she's got permission to do those. The BBC tend come down hard on copyright breakers.

BTW, sad news. Christopher Barry is now dead. :(

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/doctorwho/articles/Christopher-Barry

He co-directed the first Dalek story, and not only did the debuts of the Second Doctor (The Power of the Daleks, now sadly missing) and the Fourth Doctor (Robot), but he also directed the classic stories The Daemons and The Brain of Morbius.
I've lived for over 2000 years, and not all of them were good ones. I've made many mistakes. And it's about time I did something about that.

Bumping this thread because I have a new Doctor Who-related avatar and signature. It's the Other Doctor, who made his debut in the Big Finish audio epic UNIT Dominion. His first line to the Seventh Doctor is "Hello, you! Meet you from aeons along your timeline!" The Seventh Doctor's response? "[sarcasm]The giddy joy[/sarcasm]." He also has such an annoying habit of saying "Laters!", so much so, that the Seventh Doctor asks his companion to shoot him if he ever starts saying that.

Of course, this Other Doctor has a secret. It's pretty much out now, but for those of you with an interest in remaining spoiler-free, I'll reveal the secret in spoiler tags.

Spoiler: show
He isn't the Doctor at all.

He is the Master.

Yep, you heard that right. The Master actually masquerades as a future Doctor.

It's a moot point by now, as he actually is revealed to be the Master for the credits of the recently released Dark Eyes 2, where he has a wonderful line (from the trailer), mocking the Doctor about his battle against the Daleks...

What have you been DOING since you stole that empty TARDIS of yours, since you first landed on Skaro? [...] Shouting, "Look at me! I'm not fighting a war!" while you battle the Daleks all the way through space and time?
I've lived for over 2000 years, and not all of them were good ones. I've made many mistakes. And it's about time I did something about that.

BTW, just bought the DVD release of The Web of Fear today. Had a quick flick through it. Looks interesting. :)

Speculation (apologies for the source) that Capaldi is in it for only one series.
