After allowing myself to get stressed out over school issues and other minor things, I did my best to have a good day. Had a massage in the morning. Hubby took me to lunch. It's all good. Then I take Ava to riding and get my car stuck in a snowbank at the end of the drive at the farm. My fault. Brain was frozen, started to slide and I did everything you're not supposed to do, even though I've been sliding around for weeks and handling it just fine. I was feeling pretty sorry for myself when I looked up and one of the other moms was jogging toward me with a shovel. She refused to hand it over and insisted on doing the shoveling. Then comes another friend, pumping her arms in the air, yelling "Woooo Hooooo" at me.  And then a third! Bless their hearts, they tried to push me out, but it wouldn't budge. Then the family from next door comes out, including BIG, teenaged boys, thank the gods. They got me right out! I had to hug all of those women. They're awesome! :D

Gertie The Dinosaur, the worlds first animated cartoon character, is 100 years old today.

Strange thinking of how far we've come. the stuff you can do on your home computer, when it took him and a group of people draw 10,000 pictures by hand.

and people actually thought it was real back then.
