I bought both of those games on disc from that site but neither would load or run properly on vista pc. Very disappointing but no quibble refund quickly made. Still would like to get them though!

I recieved Discworld I, it is an ok start, but, no sound driver for windows vista. I suppose i am at least spared the constant "Well, that didn't work" over and over and over and over and over and over and over... oops had to go Librarian on meself just to stop that bit.

I have Not gotten the book for the Archchancellor or the secret to leaving the university but am thinking the prunes and the growing mixture in the back may have something to do with it.

Oh, and did it get mailed to me in L-Space??? the Royal Mail post mark is 11/05/09... tis a bit confusing for a Yank.

Getting further, but I am afraid I shall have to do it all in one go, since I cannot seem to save my games. It is fun, but some parts are just wonky. Like putting the silly frog in Rincewinds drunken mouth in order to be able to catch the butterfly. I must have spent at least 1/2 hour on that before I gave up and looked up a hint.

You're totally right about the wonky parts. I started playing it half a year ago and I'm still not finished yet.
(Got through mostly by asking my brother for help.)

Weeeeeel, that depends on the operating system. If you have Vista, hang it up, yer pooch is screwed. If you have XP, Windows 95, 97, 98, or ME you may be able to play, worst case scenario is that you might have to download the ScummVM (Blah blah Virtual Modulator) that Wee Doug listed earlier in thread.

They are FUN games and have potential, I am trying to figure out what to slash and burn on Freaking Vista to make it work, I Shall post once I figure that out.

EDIT: I am working on the computer language end of it and if lightning strikes me like an Igorina, I shall post the language end here or send it in a PM
