Just finished watching the extended version of The Hobbit part 1 :D

After over 3 hours we are about 100 pages in to a very short book but it's fun :D
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

Finally saw Iron Man 3 last night. :D It was sooooooo good! I'm completely in love with Tony Stark. Robert Downey Jr. plays him brilliantly. He's so obnoxious!

Tonight I went to see 47 Ronin it was quite good, lots of action and not a bad storyline.

Is that based on the classic Japanese story? :D

 After a quick Google search, it seems that it is slightly based on the real story. Forty-Seven Ronin.

Just saw it tonight and I was actually going to say that although the visuals very truly beautiful (it was the main reason I went in the first place), the storyline itself didn't excite me much. Ow, don't get me wrong, I really liked the idea of the 47 Ronin and the end was really touching, but it just couldn't tie my attention down. OK, it probably didn't help that there was sort of a family crisis going on and I got constantly called and was texting*, but see, I could just do all that and I almost didn't really care what was going on in the big fight.

SJ, how do you mean?

*I'd like to point out here that my phone was on silent and I didn't answer the calls, before you start accusing me of disturbing the audience around me

 :D Beg my pardon, I've worked too many night shifts this week. I meant I've seen the trailer for 47 Ronin, it showed before another movie I watched.

I did manage to see a couple of films, Elysium... Finally! It was really good. The World's End, again, even better on second viewing. Pacific Rim, it's really good fun. I think del Toro could teach Michael Bay a thing or two about giant robots, and making movies.
