Japan beat Wales in Tokyo but it was an under strength team they made the same mistake we did years ago against Italy.

Selling cakes and cookies after Church in aid of the Philippines Appeal. I have had a busy day so far in a hot kitchen....

Sure it'll pay off hnorwood. Hope you make lots of money.

Good luck from me today as well and let us know how you got on. :)

I intend to sleep tomorrow since I've been trying to put the finishing touches on my exhibition stuff between working ten hour night shifts. I did ask for early shifts which would have made things easier for me to get things done but, in typical casino fashion, got given the complete opposite.

must be universal amongst managers whatever time you'll book off they'll inevitably try and give you the maximum amount of hours right on those dates
my friend and I booked this Saturday off for a day trip two months ago and somehow my manager wrote next weeks date down instead

Have you ever tried asking for the opposite of what you want to see if that works out?

I normally do that or just keep quiet and it seems to work most of the time. I just wasn't thinking when I asked. A similar thing happened the other week when I told them I was off to Bristol for my days off, starting on the Sunday. I even booked a days holiday for the Thursday so I wouldn't have to go straight into work afterwards. They gave me a closing shift before I went which meant that I finished at 5:20 Sunday morning and only got a couple of hours sleep before leaving. I'm sure they do it deliberately.

We raised over £300! I took a back seat on the day and just served tea and coffee... A great selection on offer and very busy along the two tables we had set up.... Wonderful response.
