Scott D. Davis - Lost in the Horizon

My girlfriend is practicing it on the piano - very beautiful song.
Scott D. Davis does some really great stuff. Lots of piano versions of metal classics (Master of Puppets, Stairway to heaven, My Immortal) but also some own compositions that are really great. The song above is his own.
I also recommend his Scherzo.

A remix of Vega's theme from the Street Fighter games...

A salutary reminder about the man who put us on the moon.

A remix of In the Hall of the Mountain King, used for Social Network (although I first heard this particular remix on Hellsing Ultimate Abridged episode 4)...

Tonyblack wrote:I'm currently working my way through Wagner's "Das Ring Der Nibelungen". I have played "Das Rheingold" and "Die Walküre" and I am half way through "Siegfried".

I have been amused at some quote about Wagner's music, such as:

Gioachino Rossini wrote:Monsieur Wagner has good moments, but awful quarters of an hour!

Edgar Wilson Nye wrote:I have been told that Wagner's music is better than it sounds.

Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky wrote:After the last notes of Gotterdammerung I felt as though I had been let out of prison.

Those are great, Mycroft. I was watching ten rampaging kittens on another site and that second one was a fitting soundtrack. I have Preisner's "Requiem For My Friend" which is an excellent piece. :)
Look, you've got it all wrong! You don't NEED to follow ME, You don't NEED to follow ANYBODY! You've got to think for your selves! You're ALL individuals!
Yes! We're all individuals!

Hauntingly beautiful piece

That's just so beautiful. The entire score for Sunshine was wonderful. One of my all time favourite sci-fi movies. Danny Boyle always has great music in his films.
