I've got to say, I'm glad Moffat has got away from that 'lonely God' business. I much prefer his 'man with the biggest gob in the universe' approach. :D

And it's available in three different editions. Two guesses as to which one I'm getting...

I'm with you Q on this one, the Big Finish story sounds very promising and I'm not convinced about The Day of The Doctor, as for which version you're getting, I'm guessing that it's one of the two versions I'm getting ;)
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

The limited edition? Yeah. Unfortunately, it's a Christmas present, so I'll probably have to wait until December to listen to it.

Which is a shame, as they have released it early. :)

Good interview that, I wish he had done a 4th series as he was just getting the character right when he left.

I know the only way this fits into the thread in that I listened to it in 2013, but I just listened to Gareth Roberts' novelization of Shada* read by Lalla Ward (with John Leeson voicing K-9). Really good fun. :D

* Douglas Adams's unfinished serial.

Spoiler below regarding an event late in the story:
Spoiler: show
What better punishment could there be for a villain who is getting sick of even hearing about the Doctor than being basically forced to watch Doctor Who for the rest of his life. :lol:

Not only that, but Skagra in the novelisation is basically an obnoxious fanboy, rating almost everything on a 1-10 scale. :roll: So it's a fitting end.

Seriously, Shada has to be one of the best novelisations of Doctor Who ever. And guess what, Jack Remillard? Apparently Gareth Roberts is doing City of Death for release next year!
