There doesn't seem to be anyone from the same bit of France as me - which certain people don't consider to be France, anyway, - so could you put a pin in the general area of Bayonne-Anglet-Biarritz, please, Tony? The three towns all run into each other so it's as near as makes no difference where it goes, unless you're a rugby fan in which case it's either Bayonne or Biarritz and don't bring home anyone who supports the other team :confusion-shrug:

I've been there! I spent several weeks in Biarritz way back in 1976. The coast was impressively rugged, possibly because I was there in the off-season, and there was a lot of wind and rain.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Kindly put a pin on my behalf in New Paltz, New York, in the magical mid-Hudson Valley. I live within sight of the spectacular Shawangunk Ridge, affectionately known to rock climbers from all over the world as the Gunks.
