Pure luck on my part there; I just happened to be in the right place at the right time of the day. I haven't had any success with reflections in past competitions but I hope this one works out ok. :D

Got the results in for our first comp of the season. I got 17 (out of 20) for "Rainy Days" and "Reflected Towers" and an 18 for "Hazel". The average scores given to everybody were 17 so the end result is more along the lines of not too bad but not too great either. :D

I was a bit peed off when he intimated that the rain in the 'rainy days' pic was photoshopped in - I got bloody soaked that day! (It's not the first time he has accused me of photoshopping when I haven't, so I don't hold him in very high regard anyway.)

I found out this evening that one of my prints (London Civic Hall, I think) has been selected as one of six prints to represent the camera club at the Annual Sussex Regnum Crouch competition. This is a very prestigious competition and contains the best of the best from the Sussex Camera Clubs. Hopefully I will do better than I did last year where I came last in my round for the 'arty' boat (the judge liked his photos straight, all the 'arty' entries done badly last year in their rounds as well). Whether it does well or not is immaterial really since it is still an honour just to be picked. :D

Nice one, Penners.

Can I have your autograph now, before you become too famous? ;)
