Good luck getting time to read Catch-up.

needed cheering up. I read Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams over the weekend. It did the trick :)

What, ending like it did? :?

I know the ending is bleak. I know Douglas Adams is said to have regretted writing it that way. I know, I know. But I like it. Besides Zaphod comes to the rescue in the next book.

I prefer the radio series ending. But to each their own. :)

Thanks Sister J. Hoping to get more time soon, but also having trouble getting my mind settled enough to read. Nothing wrong or anything, just have a massive to do list bouncing around in there.

Rereading Speaking for Themselves the personal letters of Winston and Clementine Churchill. A touching releationship spiced with international politics and two world wars between 1908 and 1964.
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

last week I was struggling to find books to read this week seems to be quite the opposite
I found out that there was a sixth book in the Magic Kingdom of Landover series yes I know it's about 4 years old
but I thought it ended with Witches' Brew and since I don't really like Terry Brooks that much sans for the Landover books I don't follow him.
I've ordered Community by Graham Masterton from my local library :D and it should arrive by Tuesday.

For non-fiction, I'm reading David McCollough's biography of Harry Truman.

For "exercising" I'm reading Gaiman's Stardust.

For nighttime reading I just got an old complete set of hardbound Dickens and have started Bleak House.

I like Stardust as well.

I've been reading some classics;

Murder on the Orient Express.
To Kill A Mocking Bird, I always cry during Atticus's final talk to the jury. Beautiful book.
Am currently reading The Grapes of Wrath.
The Harp in the South is next on my pile, it's an Australian classic.

Happy reading dear Boardies.

Soon, I may be reading the Stephen King novel Doctor Sleep, a sequel, believe it or not, to The Shining. Watch this space...

Looking forward to hearing what you guys think of it. I gave up on Stephen King a long time ago.

Hmm, I was so looking forward to Eoin Colfer's version but I couldn't finish it, really annoyingly written. Shame.
