Don't ask. I haven't a clue.

Spay's for females, neuter is gender-neutral.

Get 'em done, fixed, whatever. As long as you do it.

The mother cat that's currently being fostered with her 4 kittens by the guy in Seattle (Mmmm, John. ) has just come into season again.

THAT explains why there's so many cats. They're actually rabbits!! ;)

I love cats, but they're hell on the native wildlife here in Australia. Even pet cats. :(

Speaking of fixing...

I was watching Firefly's last hour with the kittens. Shelly took her off to stay with her last night as she has to be fasted for the operation. She's such a beautiful cat. :( Shelly is hoping to be able to broadcast from the vet's surgery during the pre-op and post-op. The blankets that are all over the place in the kittens' room at the moment are to get their scent on so Firefly will have that when she's at the adoption centre. Not the one that Wash peed on though.

Good luck Firefly - I hope you get the best new home in the world.

Awww. Derek and I actually talked very briefly about fostering a litter of kittens. Very briefly because we're the biggest suckers in the universe and wouldn't be able to part with any of them. I think in a few months though, we'll look for either two kittens to adopt, or a kitten and an adult cat. We'll see.

Waitamoment...Wash...Firefly...

<PROCESSING>

!

You named your cats after characters from Firefly???

What about Blake's 7??? Avon is a good name for a cat, as Avon's pretty much a cat in human form.

Q.

Firefly is the momma, and then there's her crew of 7.

So, the cat sat under the mat. Better story than the one about the cat who sat on the mat.

Actually, that's Basement Cat, the Lolcat equivalent of Satan. They have some somewhat demented minds behind these, don't they?

It says "Basement Cat is ready to pounce... on your immortal soul!". :D

It isn't very often that Latin comes in handy... ;)

I was paraphrasing, kind of
John Le Carre wrote:"The cat sat on the mat is not a story. The cat sat on the other cat's mat is a story."

I don't know Latin, but Google was quite helpful

Sorry, haven't read John le Carre. The most spy-fi I have read is Ian Fleming. Unless you count Charles Stross' Laundry series.

I love that moment after all this time you realized the naming thing.

Ofcourse, it's 4chan, demented comes with the territory.

And I have to ask, raptornx01, why is that pony about to pound us with his/her hoof like a character from Dragonball Z?
