Nice car, Mad!

My other Dr Who goodies arrived today. I've now got a cup (with lid), and a 17.5 inch pedal bin - with the sound effects. My sister received the 50th Anniversary edition of the 12" Dalek, which now stands beside her 12" remote controlled Dalek.

God, Del and the girls will freak when they see them.

Apparently car repairs.

Ghost, those pictures are wild! What's the story? Did you take the pictures?

Batty, love the Doctor Who stuff. :D

yes I did take the pics and I don't know much about the story apart from the boat was tied to the car
and the tide was very quickly coming in and in the end to save the boat it was untied from the car and moored to the err seafront

Sometimes inarticulately... I wonder - were they trying to tow the boat to the beach, using the car, or trying to rescue the car using the boat? Or launch the boat but misjudged how much time they had to get the car back to the beach? We'll probably never know. Seems like anything I hear about rarely makes it into the news media, even back when there were genuinely local newspapers.

 They should do the local news for nosey people. Things like: what that police car was doing outside no.42 and whatever happened to that tramp that used to hang around the city centre - important stuff.

Great pics there Ghost. We have a place nearby called Bosham and the high tide completely covers the road around the harbour. Despite the warning signs, people regularly have their cars stranded when they fail to realize just how quickly the sea level rises.

Love the Doctor Who stuff Batty. :D

I have a friend who knows all that stuff. Every place should have a VBC (Village Broadcasting Company).
