Battlestar Galactica

Postby Ponder » Fri Aug 23, 2013 3:12 pm

I've just recently been watching Battlestar Galactica on Netflix... I'm loving it but already worried about what to watch when I'm done. Any suggestions? Some scifi or fantasy?

If you're worried about your post-Battlestar life, you need to start that hobby ASAP! ;)
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Buffy (seven seasons), Angel (five seasons), A Town Called Eureka (five seasons), Grimm, Haven (both still on about S3, but still airing).

Walking Dead - watch first and last episodes of season 2, the rest of the season is pointless
Defiance - Not bad but not amazing
Revolution - Okay. I like the idea but for some reason I can't get into it. You might though
Arrow - A little bit Batman but with a bow rather than massive amounts of tech (although tech is involved)
Terra Nova - Only 1 season made but enjoyable. Set was too expensive to carry on apparently.

And for something completely different....

8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown - How Countdown should be played although it would have to be aired after 9pm.

Tru Calling, only 2 seasons, and ended somewhat suddenly, but very good.

Dollhouse.

It seems oddly off-topic for a thread called 'Battlestar Galactica', but I did rather like that series. :D I rewatched the first season on Netflix recently, but haven't got round to the second yet.

If you are talking about Tru Calling, 'tis probably because of Eliza running towards the camera a lot. Wearing tight jumpers. A lot! ;)

When I was through I had to start watching it all over again... there's nothing of that kind out there, in my opinion.

I wonder if I will like "Caprica". Has anybody seen it, yet?

I started watching Caprica, but couldn't stick with it.

BG was a great series; old and new. Richard Hatch is actually going to be here next weekend for Hal-Con 2013!

I would suggest watching Warehouse 13, if they have it.
