Depends on what you are looking for, a quiet hobby to switch off the outside world, or something more energetic to wake you up.
I took up wood burning as a way to de-stress and chill. I'm trying to learn wood turning for the same reasons - you have to concentrate on the one thing you are doing to the exclusion of the outside world.
Or get yourself a mountain bke and get out and blast around the local woods - the wind in your hair, sun on your back.......face in the dirt when you fall off but it's fun.
Or you could just read some more books .....
