The camera does not have an adjustable lens. I just used the "super macro" setting and got very close. I don't think the shutter speed is adjustable either. Plus, the wind kept moving the leaf.

Do you have a 'sport' setting, Con? That would help eliminate the movement from the moving leaf. Although this means not using the macro setting, it should be possible to crop the photo around the subject to enlarge it in Imageshack editing. :D

A question for thems what knows about bugs.

The office upstairs appears to have an ant problem.

Any good ideas (apart from the ant and crawling insect killer spray that we already have) for getting rid of the critters?

Is there anything they can put down that will emit a smell they don't like, or somesuch.

Apparently, mice don't like the smell of bleach....

Thanks for that, Ghost!!

I presume that all those are either/or, and not all at once?

Funnily enough, I have some cinnamon powder in the office, and there's possibly a bottle of (out of date) lemon juice in the fridge.

Only problem is - carpets. The vid has wooden floors. Not sure if upstairs want stuff sprinkled on their carpets. Then again, carpets or ants? This is the eternal question.
