No internet access on my phone. :( But, hubby is bringing his laptop, so I should be able to check in once in awhile. :D

We try to get away every year. Every two years we take the girls to Walt Disney World in Florida. In between we do other things, a few east coast trips, one to the Wisconsin Dells (never again!) and once we did St. Louis and an Arkansas state park. All except the Dells and a trip to Sebasco Resort in Maine were great! Soon we'll be heading west. We're going to do some touristy stops like the Corn Palace, Wall Drug and Mount Rushmore on our way to visit my sister and b.i.l. in Montana, then we'll spend a few days in Yellowstone. Really excited! :D It is a 3 week trip though, longer than our usual trips. A lot of togetherness!

When you get to Wall Drug make sure you take pictures sitting on the giant Jackalope. Yellowstone is on my "got to get back to" list.

A jackalope is a cross between a jack rabbit and an antelope. It is found mostly in the American West, and random trailer parks and seedy bars throughout the U.S.

Not to be confused with an antelope jackrabbit. :)

I can beat your 8 years since you last had a vacation by almost 25 years since I last went on hols
and I'm going to Tywn in about 24 days so my list is getting short
on the 15th haircut
24th-27th wash and repack the contents of my suitcase
30th withdraw the last of the spending money
31st sort and pack my computer, and leave
Ooh you cheeky little sea winkle
