I had stuffed portobello mushrooms with stilton & Leek, goosefat roast potatoes, mozzerella and pesto flat bread. :)
He willnae tak' a drink! I think he's deid! , on the other hand though A Midgie in yir hand is worth twa up yir kilt.

(Yesterday) The last of the broad beans from the garden made into a risotto with lots of grated grana padano cheese and a glass of white :D

Oooh Yummy. I used not to like broad beans until last year when a friend showed me what really fresh ones are like. (They make good houmous (?spelling), too)

The last beans were a bit tough so they were double-podded ie. the skin removed from each bean which is not so difficult because, if they've been blanched in boiling water, the skin splits and is easy to remove. Worth it for a bean feast!
Today I did soup with asparagus and a few other vegies with a feta cheese soda bread and an apple tart using up a sheet of puff pastry in the freezer. We're too full of soup and bread to tackle pudding yet.

I had stuffed flat mushrooms with topped with garlic soft cheese and breadcrumbs with a garden salad including cherry tomatoes and small on the vine tomatoes. :mrgreen:

Nothing flash or healthy for me today; fried sausages, fried eggs, fried slice, and black crunchy bits. :D
