Radio said that most retailers had sold out of fans
My little fan has worked hard to keep our old terrier happy and stop her panting but it's the first time in 2 years that it's been needed.
It's been just comfortable here today but dire forebodings predict thunderstorms for all in the next day or so.

We had our storm, and a nights rain. Hope you got some Mad.
Of all the forces in the universe, the hardest to overcome is the force of habit. Gravity is easy-peasy by comparison.

Nothing here in hot and sunny Worthing so far although rain is forecast for later. :D

It was all around here but not in The Gorge. I woke at 4am to see lightening flashes in the sky and hear thunder but no rain fell at my place. There is a little light rain now though which is helping a lot :D

All the noisy, dramatic weather has bypassed us here but i had to draw stumps yesterday morning due to a heavy shower (and the fact that nothing had grown since last week  )

Weather Warning

Wednesday 24th July

YELLOW WARNING of RAIN

Further thundery downpours are likely across more eastern parts of England and the northeastern half of Scotland at first on Wednesday.

These should clear from the west during the early morning in England, but will continue on into the afternoon across northeast Scotland. There is also a risk of further heavy showers developing over Scotland during the afternoon.

The public should be aware of the risk of localised disruption to travel, due to surface water flooding.

Valid on Wednesday from 0005 until 2100.
Flood Warning

Wednesday 24th July

There are 4 flood warnings currently in force in the UK:

Southwest (2)

Midlands (2)

^ :D

One time we were staying at a beach house when there was a cyclone warning. The property manager told us if a dolphin hits the house don't go & see if it's ok. That's how cyclones trick you into going outside.

it's bloody cold here.

I see you Brits are having it warm.
