Hoping Jose the camper behaves!. The tickover at idle is getting erratic and he's a bit sluggish to accelerate until the revs build up. I think it's a combination of a worn distributor and worn carb. Got a new dizzy ordered, but getting a new carb is proving more difficult. I can buy one but they are copies of the original and by all accounts rather rubbish. So I am bidding on some original VW/Solex ones on ebay and will have to strip and refurb that when I can get one.

In the meantime, I'm just hoping Jose keeps on chugging along

I'm sure Jose won't let you down.

Tomorrow (Thurs) I'm off to see Da Mudda, in Dorzet.

Gods help me.

It would be quite a walk, since I don't drive, and she gave up last year!
