Maybe you could enjoy your Fosters responsibly? ;)
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Well....that was a scorching day! 33C and wall to wall sunshine in a beautiful setting! Not a ton of my stuff selling - a few bits, but mainly the smaller message plaques etc. that my sister has made. Still, it was busy enough and there's another day to go tomorrow. Looks like another scorching day tomorrow.

Trouble is there's so many lovely stalls, I could easliy spend more than I make!

My experience of selling at events like this on hot weekends is that Saturday is much lower takings than Sunday. Best of luck for tomorrow.
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

Going to Harrogate for a trade fair. It's a 330 mile round trip through bad traffic most of the way so I'm not looking forward to it  but it has to be done. At least this year it will be good weather, there were thunderstorms a lot of the time last year

We did do a bit of that - the smaller stuff - name plaques, sayings, wooden birthday cards etc. I did take a order to make over the next few weeks as well - a clock with an owl on it for a Handfasting gift. But for my larger items, it's not really practical to burn on site. They can take 2-4 hours depending on how intricate that are.....and people just don't want to wait around that long! Plus, if you are outide, the slightest breeze affects the heat of the burning wire and it's difficult to get an even burn on the shading. In fact, it's a technique I use when burning ar home. If i need a line to fade out a bit, I blow on the nib at the right point whilst burning and the colour gets lighter.

People did take a load of cards and flyers so I might get some email orders.

Sounds like a successful day Chilli :D The wind factor could be eliminated by asking the spectators to stand on the one side as a wind break.
Have a good trip Mad and hope you manage to see the A4s in York.

...haha, made ya' look!! :)

Seriously though,
I have to sand the basement wall, having put the new drywall on yesterday and patched it. I might attempt to lay the new flooring (vinyl) in the laundry room. I have to move the washer and dryer out first though. :?

sigh I didn't want to work all day tomorrow the thought of working all day in a heatwave in full uniform in a un-airconditioned cramped room does not appeal especially since my job requires a lot of manual labour

Looks fun Joolz!

Chilli, glad the weekend was successful.

Nothing exciting here, just going to the dentist tomorrow and trying to beat the heat.

...hmm,
I think I'm going to do some work outside tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be a bit milder.
