It's not a fast thing, is it? Are most cat labours this slow?
Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them.

I'm told it can vary. And if the cat is impregnated more than once, there can be two litters. The first five came out very quickly, six and seven took their time - still waiting for eight (and maybe nine). :?

I'm still trying to get my head round the fact that a litter can have more than one father!

That can even happen with humans - twins born from different fathers.

The reason for the colour difference with the Mythbuster kittens is because of more than one father.

One of the ladies in the charity shop here is having twins and according to the doctors they were conceived 2 days apart (hopefully by the same father)
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

How could the doctors possibly tell? They'd have to have observed the pregnancy from an impossibly early stage, surely? :? Tall story?
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

No idea I really don't want to discuss this with her too closely, there has already been too much detail  . She said they were developing separately rather than together as is normal with twins

Fraternal twins (dizygotic) develop separately, because they're two different eggs. But I don't know if it's possible to date foetuses to two days apart. Or why anyone would even try! But I only know germs, not babies.
