Postby Bouncy Castle » Fri Jul 12, 2013 12:27 pm

Journalist and broadcaster Alan Whicker has died at the age of 87 after suffering from bronchial pneumonia, his spokeswoman has said.

With a TV career stretched nearly six decades, he was best known for his long-running documentary series, Whicker's World.

RIP Alan, his programs got me interested in travelling from a very young age, always the gentleman no matter what happened.
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

RIP Alan!
Look, you've got it all wrong! You don't NEED to follow ME, You don't NEED to follow ANYBODY! You've got to think for your selves! You're ALL individuals!
Yes! We're all individuals!

What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

I remember my parents watching those programmes. RIP.

I thought he was already dead. The most I saw of him was clips of him interviewing Terry Nation, as well as an extract on the special edition of You Only Live Twice. Oh, and Monty Python spoofing him.

Oh well. Shame about his passing.
