Well, the weather was a bit hit and miss. Windy and showers. Not as many people at the show as I had hoped. Maybe there will be more people there today. The weather is supposed to be a bit better......I'll believe that when I see it.

Hardly sold anything. :( Mind you some of the people in the craft marque sold nothing at all  At least the stall was cheap. There was a steady, but not huge, number of people walking through, but nobody was opening their wallets.....and we've got stuff on the stall starting at a couple of quid for keyrings up to 25 quid.

Hoping for a better day today and also gonna take an additional small table and some blank bits of wood. Got a 12v battery powerpack and an invertor so I can run the 240v burner. Should give me 2-3 hours burning. Try and give people something more to see and then if they stop they might look at the stall more......and hopefully buy.

Very good idea Chilli, people seem to take more notice when they see a craftsman at work amongst his wares. :D

That should work Chilli, quite often at bear fairs thare are people still making bears at their stands and it always attracts attention.
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

You can also personally add names to items as people buy them. ;)

Our exhibition went well with my friend selling a fair bit of his stuff. :D (I didn't sell anything despite getting a lot of interest and nice comments.)

However, tomorrow I will be going to see some hawks which we will be allowed to handle and which will also be flown for us to photograph. I will do my best to get some good ones to show you later. :D
