stress lots of stress the window fitters have arrived
and I'm getting a headache and in a minor bout of short sightedness
and plain stupidity has resulted in me packing my painkillers away

Feeling very sad about Mick Aston.

Best wishes ghost!

It has been very stressful for us as well. Thankfully, the tenants will be out in a few days.

We have decided to pull out all of the carpet and replace it with laminate. It's not in bad shape, but people just don't want it these days. We are also going to replace 5 of the old windows. Even if I do everything myself, I figure it will set me back about 4k. Luckily, Costco has some amazing laminate for an amazing price; as they usually do.
We still can't believe how people can disrespect someone else' home like that. We're so tired of all the BS.

I hope you had a reasonable deposit from them Con to offset the damage caused.

We should have got half a months' rent ($850). We only got $500. Not enough. We will take them to small claims court if needed.

Yeah, it's a little nuts around here. We listed it for $1550/month, but when they wanted to add a 4th, we said $1700. We did drop it to $1560 in the winter, when they said they had electric bill troubles.

I'm hoping the reno's will make renting easier.
