I have just read on the DWE forum that Jack Vance has passed away, he was one of my favorite authors. RIP Jack. :(

Jack Vance passed away at home on the evening of Sunday May 26, 2013.

I remember 'The Dragon Masters' and 'Lyonesse' with much affection. One of these days I'll get around to reading 'The Dying Earth'.
